Dallas Pumpkin Patch – Big Orange Pumpkin Farm – has a new home at Preston Trail Farms. The Kimbrell family started this Dallas pumpkin patch in 1997. Now we are located in Gunter, Texas as part of Preston Trail Farms.

Our Dallas-area pumpkin farm is a great way to give children a hands-on experience with farm-related activities. Adults and children will see small, green pumpkins on the vine and the yellow blossoms.

There are hay bales to romp on and over 50 farm animals to see, hear, touch, and learn about at our pumpkin patch. This will be paired with a fun hayride to give kids a taste of the country life. We have interactive signs in various areas of the farm to help kids learn more about the animals and and also the pumpkins in our pumpkin patch.

We have been blessed by the many great fall seasons that Dallas-area families have joined us at our pumpkin patch. It is definitely our family business. We truly enjoy our Pumpkin Farm and sharing with others.

Petting Farm:
Preston Trail Farms’ petting farm is perfect for all ages! We like to call it a petting farm and not a petting zoo, because we focus exclusively on farm animals. Located just North of Dallas, (not far from Prosper, Texas), visitors can see over 50 goats, cows and even some real longhorn cattle up close and personal in their full-time home right here on the farm.
