Ditmars Orchard & Vineyard
Since 1994, Ditmars Orchard & Vineyard have been known for our beautifully maintained apple orchard and fun family activities. Of course, coming to pick fruit and pumpkins is always a favorite activity, but we also offer several fun attractions that will entertain "kids" of all ages. We've expanded our pumpkin patch as well as our tractor-pulled rides for an even more enjoyable experience.
Tire Mountain: Kids can be the king of the mountain on this fun climbing adventure.
Corn Maze: This has been a popular attraction for the past several years, and we're told we have one of the best corn mazes in the area! Walk through the 5-acre corn maze and try to find and ring the bell! This is a great activity for kids and adults of all ages, however, we do recommend that younger children be accompanied by an adult.
Tractor pulled rides: Always a favorite with the young and young at heart, there's nothing quite like a ride through the orchard. Along with acres of apple, peach, and apricot trees, you'll also catch sight of our vineyard and pumpkin patch as you enjoy the fresh Orchard air. Tractor rides are available on weekends only - please call the Orchard if you want to be sure tractors are running before you plan your visit.
Corn Box: Just like a sandbox but with a farm twist: corn instead of sand. The kiddos will love to sit, scoop, and play in this HUGE "sandbox" full of field corn.
Playground: Our playground offers a great place for kids to swing, slide, and climb. We've built two mini-playhouses where kids can let their imaginations run wild.
Wristbands are required for access to the activities at Ditmars Orchard and can be purchased at any register.
